Brrrrrrrrr, it’s been cold recently, hasn’t it?

Far too cold for beetles that’s for sure. Which is why this term William Ransom SPA hosted a ‘SNOWMAN DRIVE’ drive instead.

You know the deal: roll a die, draw the body part assigned to the number rolled, and the first person to draw a full beetle/snowman wins the round. And what fun it was. So much frantic energy, doodling, and laughter filled the school hall that everyone who attended had a brilliant time, and most left asking when the next one would be (many even suggesting other creatures we could draw instead of beetles or snowmen then).

So, all in all, another successful event. Huge thanks to everyone who helped out and to all those taking part. And a very special mention to all of the adults who seemed to take the supplementary colouring-in-competition way more seriously than any of the children did. We’re glad you enjoyed yourselves.

So until next time, keep practicing your drawing because who knows what you’ll be asked to draw next time. My suggestion is we have a Mrs Driver Drive. Roll six and draw her body, five for her head, four for her glasses, etc. If we sell enough tickets I’m sure we’ll be able to talk her into it, so be sure to book yours early!
