Oak and Ash thoroughly enjoyed their visit from local author Lucy Plunkett. After listening to the story, all the children had an opportunity to colour in a picture of Dexter the School Dog and talk about the story with their teachers.
We loved talking about the characters the children had dressed up as throughout the day and we discussed our favourite stories and when and where we like to read.
It really was a celebration of books!
