Willow Class had a fantastic day today exploring all things Viking with our very own ‘Viking’ from Portals to the Past. The children got into character by dressing up as Viking boys or girls with many even bringing their own weapons and shields; they were all very impressive!
Our Viking camp for the day was the school hall where the children took part in a number of activities including a Viking quiz, a weapons and artefacts talk and demonstration, spear wrestling and Viking battle drills. There was so much to take in! Our ‘Viking’ finished the day with a Q&A session with the class. There is always something new to learn about the Vikings!
